Building on that hard-earned reputation, the Shaman Lightweight delivers the same reliable high performance in a package that is nine percent leaner and features an enhanced grip texture. For tactical environments where light discipline is a concern, the Shaman Lightweight is now also available in an all-black configuration. Available with a choice of PlainEdge or fully serrated SpyderEdge formats, its full-flat-ground blade is crafted from Carpenter Technology’s CTS BD1N nitrogen-enriched stainless steel and cloaked in a stealthy Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) coating that eliminates its reflective signature. The high-performance blade is housed in a handle featuring nested, skeletonized stainless-steel liners, Spyderco’s high-strength Compression Lock mechanism, and pebble-textured, injection-molded, fiberglass-reinforced nylon (FRN) scales. To keep the knife poised for immediate access and swift one-handed deployment, it includes a broad-based, four-position pocket clip that supports left- or right-side, tip-up or tip-down carry.
